Put a Cork in Hunger Food Drive

When it comes to the holidays, no family should be left without a full stomach. Over the past few years, we’ve aimed to make sure that everyone has what they need to make Christmas the best time of the year. At White Bear Mitsubishi, the community is incredibly important to us, which is why we’re hosting “Put a Cork in Hunger” yet again, in the hopes that no child goes hungry while they wait on Santa to appear.

What Is It?

“Put a Cork in Hunger” is essentially a “Food Drive” party where guests can relax and enjoy themselves. If you’ve participated in this event in the past, you might be surprised that this year is going to be slightly different. In both 2020 and 2021, hosting a party in person wasn’t particularly feasible, but now that things have changed for the better, you can expect to attend “Put a Cork in Hunger” in person. In the coming days, 100 participants will be selected to attend the event. If you receive an invitation, it’s important that you RSVP a “YES” before November 30th in order to keep your spot. Keep a close eye on your email, as this surely isn’t something you’ll want to miss.

Truly Enjoy Yourself

Christmas is the perfect time to relax and have some fun, so when you arrive, you can expect to enjoy a fulfilling night of wine tasting mixed with multiple appetizers. If you’re looking to meet new people and make new friends, this is a great chance to do it. When it comes to the wine itself, you can also expect to be guided by a Certified Sommelier. This is important as each guest will have a wine-tasting package that’s valued at up to $125 each. With the help of our Sommelier, you’ll be able to best experience each individual flavor, so that every cup makes a splash. This early Christmas present comes free of charge, so you won’t have to worry about paying hidden fees.

The Catch?

You might be left wondering what the catch is, considering this night is packed with amazing food and drinks that you surely won’t forget anytime soon. All that we ask, is that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to the local food drives. This includes Second Harvest Heartland and also the White Bear Area Food Shelf, with our goal being 20,000 total, split between them. In the last year, we were able to raise over 27,000 dollars, which went directly to families found all across the area. With your help, we can work to crush hunger before the holiday season, so that every child is able to experience the wonder of Christmas Day without having to worry about when they’ll get their next meal. This event will be located at Rudy’s Bar & Grill in White Bear Lake, and begins promptly at 6:30 pm, on December 12th, 2022. If you’re a selected participant, you’re going to want to make the most out of the 12th by attending.

When it comes to the community, we’re here to help at White Bear Mitsubishi. When you need partsservice, or financing, you can count on us to help you get back on the road with a vehicle you can trust.
