The hatchback gets 37 MPG in the City, 42 MPG on the highway. The difference is small, but shows show economical both cars are to run. Also, the hatchback is just 148.8 inches long with a wheelbase of 96.5 inches, while the sedan measures out at 169.5 inches long with a longer 100.4-inch wheelbase.

Even with the size and fuel economy differences, both the Mirage and Mirage G4 share the same level of standard equipment across the board. All models come with power windows, door locks and side mirrors. Both come with the 1.2 liter 3-cylinder engine that puts out 78 horsepower and offers the choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission. The ES provides the best value among the two models, while the SE adds more luxury items for an even greater value.
